I’ll tell you this there is Christmas in my heart a song for Christmas in my mind I tell you more had the message and I’m still in love maybe nervous but overjoyed A polaroid for Christmas it’s a polaroid for Christmas time A polaroid for Christmas It’s Christmas time when I feel so safe and warm despite the letdowns despite the shitstorm And despite the worries and despite the fear You’re still alive and strong and here is the song I’m writing for A polaroid for Christmas it’s a polaroid for Christmas time Maybe I should write a lovesong for Enzo, but there’s no word, there is no word that matches with Enzo What if a call from a blog by Benty so many rhymes and the sack is plenty, plenty of love for a polaroid for Christmas it’s a polaroid for Christmas time

Well, I woke up sweating surely on a kitchen floor in Charlottenburg Wondering if I had seen that scene before The one I can’t forget unless my body stops breathing You were there, but no one else in the room was laughing You made me remember my dream And then I start to wake up and realize that I am better off off I dipped my feelings in light and now I can’t go back to sleep You made me remember my dream The one where I stand out and speak free I want to run out in the streets, tell the grass, tell the morning dew that I feel something new, that I’m feeling renewed And though I wanna start a scene I remember it’s four in the morning So, no, I won’t intervene I will stay awake and dream You made me remember my dream

Oder was, was gar nicht geht? Leg mir zuhaus‘ nen großen Vorrat an. Domino, mir niemals leid! Glück im Kuvertürekleid! Wir heißen Weihnachten willkommen zurück! Und so weiter Und so weiter und so fort…

about

• [ENG] On the morning of December 13th, scandinavian girls wear white robes and a crown of candles. The darkness of the night of Saint Lucia, which according to the Julian Calendar was the longest night of the year, is now behind us and light can return. People exchange gifts, prepare traditional sweets, sing in choirs and kick off the holiday period.
Like we did the last years, polaroid blog has decided to enter into the Christmas spirit and brings you a small gift. I called some friends and some bands, and asked them if they wanted to write a song for this season, or at least play a song that could keep me company while decorating the Christmas tree. Once again, the responses exceeded all expectations.
I thank all the musicians who participated, they were fantastic. Below you can find all the links. I hope you like it: it's just a polaroid for Christmas to send some greetings to everyone.

PS: Once again, our little Christmas compilation will try to give a little help to someone. Here in Bologna, Italy, we have SOKOS, a volunteer-run health clinic, giving free assistance to people without a residence permit, to homeless and to anyone living in a condition of social exclusion in the Bologna area (tinyurl.com/Sokos-Bologna).
All proceeds from this compilation will go to SOKOS.
